  1. How do you play these lots with the employment positions? How do the sims work there and how do you assign them to the lots?

    1. Hi, Anon! I use Get Together clubs, some mods, and lots of imagination. Get Together clubs will draw the sims you want to the lot, and will allow you to assign and direct their tasks. I pay the employees with inventory money, which is linked on my mods page.

You might like to check out this post where I blogged about this topic. That's a good example of Stephanie working at Sharon's hotel. And there are some more gameplay notes in this one, same hotel but a different work session.

  2. I like how you made the Bluffs into a "national park." You must have used the crates to move the sign and tents there, or I can't remember, can it be edited? But you can't change the venue type, I believe.

It aggravates me also, that we don't have more small lots. I also used that 64 x 64 for a combo (town hall, school, and visitor's center) but it is really annoying to play. Yours looks great, though. The whole look of Copper Hill is nicely distinctive from vanilla Windenburg, very refreshing. You've also changed out the terrain and clouds, and added your own early fall trees, right?

I'm really curious about the layout of the Lind house. Playable, practical houses are my favorite.

    1. Nope, no crates. (They're actually broken for good now *cry*.) There's a cheat: bb.enablefreebuild

It's still set as a special lot in my game. (Although, I don't think that lot really does anything special, besides the dance parties.)

Thank you! It's so hard to make any neighborhood look distinctive in this game. Yup, the trees and backdrops are mine. The grass is modified from KiwiSims, I think. The clouds are linked on my CC page. Gorgeous clouds! I am so in love with them and so sad that I didn't have them in my game earlier! <3

Did I never do a layout of that house when Stephanie was still living in it? If not, I'll put one together when I go into my game next. I've been meaning to put it up on the gallery, actually. Since the Lind family moved in, I don't think it even has any CC!

    2. Oh yeah, bb.enablefreebuild, I didn't even think of that. Maybe someone will remake the crates though :-/ You may have put up a layout of the Lind house but I don't remember seeing it. House layouts are my thing, though-- I can spend hours looking at house plans, ha.

  3. By the way, this is Shannon Simsfan... aka Shannon Pettit. Just FYI

  4. Ironwood Old Town looks great. I also put multi-family housing on those lots where you have Stephanie's parents. Are you using any mods for the atmosphere/sky in Castle Danger MN?

    1. I had the Astral Lights in there for a while, but I didn't really like it. It's very dramatic! But that creator has some other effects too that I might try eventually.
